Winter is a great season to stay in lodging in Folsom CA and catch a show at Three Stages at Folsom Lake College! Read below for some of the hot picks for the upcoming season!
Nunset Boulevard, January 14-16
This is the latest installment in the series of Nunsense musicals featuring the star of “Laverne & Shirley.” The Sisters are journeying to perform at the legendary Hollywood Bowl, but end up at the Bowl-A-Rama instead. They audition for a new musical about Dolores Hart, the movie star who kissed Elvis Presley and then became a nun. Will this be their big break? NBC News says “The nuns have done it again…sinfully funny laughs” and ABC News describes the performance as “Hilarious, wacky and unpredictable!” Three Stages presents Nunsense Boulevard starring Cindy Williams January 14-16, with performances at 7pm. There is an additional performance at 2pm on Wednesday, January 16 at a 10% discount. Tickets are $29-$49, $59 for premium seats. For more details, click here.

Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles, January 18-20
You probably never saw The Beatles on stage, despite knowing all the songs and the words. This production combines the four legendary musicians and the famous musical RAIN. RAIN has been performed 300 times on Broadway, and according to the Associated Press, The Beatles deliver a “Pitch perfect” performance with dazzling lighting effects and vintage video. The Washington Post describes the play as “An adoring valentine to The Beatles…an impressive feat for some of the later songs, which The Beatles themselves performed only in the studio…” Experience “The Beatles with RAIN” on Martin Luther King Weekend with performances at 7:30pm and matinee performances at 2pm Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $39-$59, with $69 premium seats. Sunday evening tickets are 10% off.
Legally Blonde, The Musical, February 15-March 3
Sorority star Elle Woods doesn’t know when to quit. When her boyfriend dumps her for someone more “serious” she hits the books and decides to go to Harvard Law School. Along the way, she discovers a side to herself she never quite knew. Based on the movie by the same name, this is the story of a pampered and perky but lovable heroine. Tickets are $18-$28 with $36 premium tickets. Thursday, February 21 is Bargain Night with $14.75 tickets. For more information, click here.
