Folsom Historic District Ice Rink, November 5 to January 21
Historic Folsom’s popular skating rink will open on November 5, with a grand opening on November 10! The rink is a great family-friendly place for a winter adventure. Free parking and easy access from light rail is available. The rink is open daily from 10am to 10pm, including both Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Tickets are $8 for kids 8 years old and under and $10 for adults. Skate rentals are $2. You can buy tickets here. For more information on this fun and historic ice rink, click here.
Historic Folsom Holiday Open House, November 10
Welcome in the holidays on this special day! Merchants in Historic Folsom will have special offerings and tastings. Event hours will be 12pm to 6pm but some shops will be open later.
Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, November 30
Join us in Historic Folsom as we light up the tree, located in the plaza near the turntable. The Historic District of Folsom will light up during this ceremony. Carolers, face painting, and Santa photos will be available for entertainment.
Christmas Arts and Crafts Fair, December 1
Sutter Street will be filled with arts, crafts and gifts for your loved ones! Come from 8am to 4pm with the family for a great holiday event. Carolers, live music, and face painting will be available. As with the tree-light ceremony, parking will be available at Reading and Leidesdorff, the Trader Lane parking lot and the lot behind Sutter Street Steakhouse.
Historic Folsom Holiday Home Tour, December 7-8
You can truly explore Folsom’s history during this holiday tour! Folsom’s historic district dates to the 1850s. Numerous homes have great character and evoke memories of the past for architecture buffs and history geeks. For more details, click here.
