See a Show for the Holdiays!
If you’re staying in hotels in Folsom CA for the holidays, why not see a show at the Three Stages at Folsom Lake College to get into the holiday spirit? The College offers a variety of shows all year but some of its most popular shows run around Christmas. Read below for more details!
“An Irish Christmas,” November 29-December 1
There’s still time to buy tickets to see this sold-out show at the Three Stages last year! “An Irish Christmas” is a celebration of the holidays in Ireland with music, dance, storytelling and plenty of Irish soul. An Irish Christmas will feature Riverdance star Kevin Horton and Magic of the Dance stars Ciaran Maguire (who debuted at the age of 16 in Riverdance) and Collette Dunne, plus Kerry Trad Orchestra and a host of actors. The music, traditional dance and song will leave everyone breathless after a great Irish night. Performances are Thursday, November 29 at 7pm, November 30 at 4 & 7:30pm, and December 1 at 7:30pm. Tickets are $25-$39. Premium tickets are $49 and children’s tickets are $20.
“The Elves and the Shoemaker,” December 9
Two merry elves arrive at a small village in the Black Forest and find a shoemaker who needs help. Their kindness and support brighten the poor shoemaker’s bleak holiday in this classic play. Children and adults alike will enjoy this production. There will be three performances on December 9, one at 1pm, 2:30pm and 4pm. Tickets are $8-$15. You can buy tickets here.
“The Nutcracker,” December 21-23, December 27-30
Tchaikovsky’s timeless tale of family and the magic of Christmas will be performed twice at Three Stages this year. Pamela Hayes Classical Ballet will perform the play before Christmas. Tickets are $20-$23. Premium tickets are $26 and children’s tickets are $21. After Christmas, the Moscow Classical Ballet will come to Three Stages to perform “The Nutcracker.” They have performed in 30 countries around the world.
